Repeat Medication


The form on the Practice website was closed on 31st March 2017. You can now order your repeat medication online by using Patient Access. See below for more information.

Patient Access


We introduced a new online service called Patient Access on the 1st April 2015, which you can use to book and cancel appointments, order repeat medication and view your Summary Care Record. Patient Access is hosted and managed by EMIS who are our clinical system supplier at the surgery.


If you previously ordered repeat medication online via the practice website, you will need to register at Reception to begin using Patient Access.

First time use of Patient Access online services


1.Patient Access is a secure system. It requires you to register using a unique and confidential PIN number to ensure confidentiality. To register you need to download and read the practice guidance (see below) and complete the form on the last page of the guidance.


A copy of the guidance can be downloaded here.


2. You then need your completed form AND some photo ID (for example a passport or photo driving license) to the reception who will print your registration document after checking your ID. Registration documents must be handed to the person they are named for no one else.


3. You will then need to take the registration document home and complete the registration process online. At the end of which you will have a user ID (long number 11 digits) and a password you create during the registration process. 


4. Once the Registration process has been done you just need your user ID (long number 11 digits) and the password you created during registration to logon. The practice cannot reset your password for you, and for you to reset your password using the forgotten password link you must have both an email address and mobile number recorded with the practice.


Please Note: You can only register to access your own appointments, repeat prescriptions and summary care record. Parents can register to do repeat medication only for children under 14 years old, at 14 this access will be revoked and the child will have to come in and reregister for them selves. Between 14 and 18 you can still only have medication access until you are 18.
